Being careful whom we trust is a part of life that we all have to learn pretty quickly especially as we grow older and dive into living on our own in the real world. First start off knowing that it is okay to give people a chance. In this life we live especially if we want to get ahead, we have to network and meet different people, but this does not necessarily mean that we should let them in to our core and show them all of our cards when we barely know them. Learn, learn, and learn.
Be an intent listener and understand what makes a person who they are. Figure out what motivates them, where they are going in life, and if they are truly about what they say that they are about. A person, who seems to be all talk and no action, usually indicates that this person isn't the most trustworthy or truthful person, so be weary. Just be careful who you let in your life, every part of you is precious and sacred, don't just let everybody into your soul, and take time out to get to know people first.
